Centrelink has announced the changes to payment and reporting dates for the Anzac Day holiday.
The service centres and most call centres will close for the Anzac Day public holiday on Thursday, 25 April.
As a result, your reporting and payment dates may change and you may need to report early.
If you have an online Centrelink account it will show the new reporting dates for Anzac Day, otherwise they are in the following tables.
If you have to report
When you report early, you’ll need to include what you expect to be paid for that reporting period.
You must also do this for any other changes that may affect your payment. If you make a mistake, you can correct your report within 14 days, or when you next report.
If you report on Anzac Day, you will be paid after the public holiday.
You can also choose to report after your normal reporting period if you are unsure of your income over the holiday period or if there are changes to your circumstances.
If you don’t have to report
If you don’t have to report to get your payment, you may be paid early. Centrelink won’t delay payments because of a public holiday, but they may pay you earlier. Centrelink will pay you as close to your normal payment date as it can.
