Star Wars is back for its seventh instalment and is set to be the most anticipated film of 2015.
Director JJ Abrams of Star Trek has taken the reigns of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is set 30 years after Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi from 1983.
The teaser trailer below reveals the most significant and exciting element of The Force Awakens – the return of the original cast. Yes, this time we welcome back our favourites – Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford.
Newcomer cast members include Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave), Adam Driver (HBO’s Girls) and Daisy Ridley.
The Force Awakens will open in US cinemas on 18 December. Box office analysts say it will be even more popular than Avatar, expecting to outstrip its US$2.78 billion.
