Early bird Black Friday specials are here

Black Friday is still a week away, but many retailers and travel specialists have started their sales early. Here’s your chance to get some Black Friday bargains before the day arrives! This week there are some great deals on gorgeous furniture, along with some stunning travel discounts. Big W is also kicking off Black Friday specials from today, while over at Woolies this week’s grocery specials are also great.

IconByDesign

Give your home interior a facelift ahead of the festive season with some beautifully crafted furniture from IconByDesign. Their Black Friday sale has already kicked off and runs through until 2 December. And it’s one heck of a sale, with discounts of between 20 and 60 per cent storewide.

That includes the ‘Jonas’ Display Shelf, crafted from American walnut in a typically Scandinavian minimalist style. The taller 3 x 3 option is available for $1759, a 20 per cent markdown on the normal price. Or there’s the 3 x 2 option for just $1079. That’s 40 per cent off the usual $1799 price tag.

And then there’s the stunningly beautiful Hilda Rectangular Glass Dining Table. Also made from American walnut, the 180cm version has been knocked down by a massive 60 per cent to $1299. Two other sizes are also available, the smaller 160cm option reduced by 20 per cent, and the larger 200cm version at 30 per cent off.

But it’s not just the dining room and study you can upgrade at a discount price. IconByDesign’s storewide sale offers rugs, entertainment units, beds and much, much more, with every item marked down.

Check out the IconByDesign range here and give your whole house a pre-Christmas facelift.

Both deals promise to be extremely popular, so APT and Travelmarvel will have extended customer service hours over the next two weekends. These will be from 9pm to 4pm on Saturday 23 November, Sunday 24 November, Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December.

Big W and Woolies

By the time you read this, the Big W Black Friday sale will have kicked off. At the time of writing, not all prices had been revealed but expect to see great deals on Dyson and Robot vacuum cleaners, Philips air fryers and PS5 gaming systems. And it doesn’t stop there. TVs, printers and other electronic items will be heavily discounted, as well as a wide range of Lego sets, including the ever-popular Star Wars options.

All is revealed on Big W’s Black Friday page here.

Black Friday specials are great, but you’ll still need the basics like groceries, and Woolies has some at great prices in this week’s catalogue. Beautiful Australian truss tomatoes are on special at just $3.90 a kilo, while marinated kebab varieties made with RSPCA approved chicken are just $1 each from the deli.

And for something a bit special grab some thawed extra large cooked Australian tiger prawns for just $28/kg. That’s $8/kg off the regular price.

You’ll find these and many more Woolies specials here.

Happy bargain hunting!
