Very few food combinations are as satisfying as bananas and chocolate. If you’re looking for a BBQ dessert which will delight young and old alike, you need look no further.
Ingredients
(Serves eight)
4 large bananas
200g chocolate buttons
Ice cream to serve
Method
Cut small slits in the skin of each banana, deep enough to cut through part of the banana as well.
Insert a chocolate button into each slit.
Individually wrap each banana in tin foil and place on a hot BBQ.
Grill for 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
Once the chocolate has melted into the banana, remove from grill.
Unwrap and cut each banana in half.
Serve with ice cream.
