Budget Beef Teriyaki

Save money with our Budget Beef Teriyaki recipe. Easy to prepare and full of flavour, this is the perfect dinner for when you don’t feel like cooking.

Ingredients

500g chuck steak
¼ cup sugar
½ clove crushed garlic
1 cup teriyaki sauce (can be substituted with soy sauce)
½ teaspoon grated ginger

Method
1. Cut the meat into bite-size pieces and place in a large mixing bowl
2. Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger and sugar over medium heat until sugar dissolves
3. Pour liquid over meat, cover and marinate for three hours
4. Stir fry meat with your choice of vegetables including onion, capsicum, broccoli, snap peas, corn and green beans.

Serve with steamed rice or noodles and a nice glass of red wine on the side.
