Chinese-Inspired Pork

Toss some cubed pork together with the fresh flavours of bok choy and snow peas for a quick and easy Chinese dinner for you and three of your friends.

Ingredients

  • 500g pork, cubed
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 red capsicum, diced
  • 60g snow peas, thinly sliced lengthways
  • 2 heads bok choy, halved
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons five-spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 50g bean sprouts

Method
Combine pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, five-spice, garlic, ginger and honey. Marinate for 10 minutes.

Heat oil in a wok and stir-fry the capsicum and snow peas for one to two minutes. Add the bok choy and cook for one minute, then toss in bean sprouts and set aside.

Drain the pork, reserving the marinade. Cook the pork for one to two minutes, add the marinade and allow to bubble to three to five minutes.

Return the vegetables to the wok, toss to combine and serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
