There are few things in life more satisfying than eating chicken off the bone. These Honey Chicken Wings are delicious and have a surprising little kick.
Serves: One
Time: 20 minutes (plus one hour for marinating)
Ingredients
- 6 chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sherry
- 1 1/2 tablespoons oil
- 1 small garlic clove, crushed
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
Method
Put chicken in a shallow dish. In a small bowl, add the soy sauce, sherry, oil and garlic, and whisk. Pour the mixture over the chicken and lightly toss until evenly coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour (can be longer if you prefer) to marinate. When you are ready to cook, microwave the honey for 30 seconds until warm. Grease a frying pan and heat it, place the chicken into the hot pan and cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Brush with honey and cook for three more minutes.
