Our Peaches and Cream is an old favourite, and when made with fresh peaches and a touch of indulgence, it’s exactly how a modern-day dessert should be.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups sliced peeled peaches
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Method
In a small saucepan, beat the sugar and water, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla. Place peaches in two small baking dishes. Add syrup and stir gently to coat. Bake uncovered at 180°C for 30 minutes or until peaches are tender. Serve warm or chilled with cream. Store any extras in the fridge and enjoy with your muesli for breakfast.
