Spiced Pear Crumble

Enjoy our versatile Spiced Pear Crumble for breakfast or dessert without feeling guilty. Choose quality muesli and yoghurt for a top notch treat.

Serves: One

Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 pears, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary 
  • pinch salt 
  • 2 tablespoons toasted muesli
  • Greek yoghurt, to serve

 

Method

In a small saucepan, add water until the base is just covered. Add the pears, cinnamon, rosemary and salt, and simmer until the fruit has softened, stirring often.

If you wish, you could add a fig or two when they’re in season. Simply quarter and simmer along with the pears.

Remove from the heat and scoop the fruit into a serving bowl. Top with the muesli and yoghurt. Enjoy!
