Today’s Tart Apple Salad not only tastes terrific, it’s also inexpensive and nutritious. Eat it for breakfast or lunch, or serve as a side at dinnertime.

Ingredients
- 4 green apples, chopped into bite-size pieces
- 1/4 cup almonds, toasted blanched and slivered, or 1/4 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup dried cherries, chopped
- 220g light vanilla yoghurt
Method
In a medium bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well until apples are coated. Serve.
