Waffles make for a fun breakfast, especially on a Sunday morning. Our waffles are very easy to make and allow you to add your own personal touch for the perfect breakfast or dessert.

Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup sifted flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, separated
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Method
Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt. Beat egg yolks well and combine with milk; add to flour mixture and beat until smooth. Add melted butter, and then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Partly fill each compartment in the waffle iron. Close iron and bake until steam is no longer visible, about five minutes. Enjoy with your favourite toppings.
