Netflix is launching a cheaper, basic streaming service in a bid to stem its first-ever loss of subscribers this year, and not just a trickle, 1.2 million people worldwide left the service in the year ending June 30.
That’s a colossal business failure in anyone’s terms.
The new service is $6.99 per month and will be available in November, however with the cheap price will be five minutes of ads per hour.
I don’t know about you, but I find Netflix’s offerings hard to navigate. Sure there’s a few gems in there, but it’s mostly dross.
It’s kind of like when Foxtel promised to be ad free and then really just wasn’t. We got rid of that too.
Will you take up the cheaper offer?

If people don’t want to pay that’s up to them. Paying and then moaning about it is pointless.People are complaining about cost of living and inflation yet still pay for this and other streaming services which by the way are not essentials. I just don’t ‘get it’!
