The Australia Post deadlines for Christmas deliveries are closing in.
The deadline for standard parcel post for Western Australia and the Northern Territory has passed but you have until today for all other states.
However, express post for WA and NT does not close until December 14 and December 19 for all other states.
Standard cards and letters must be sent by December 15 for interstate post and December 19 for intrastate post. Christmas card postage within Australia is 65c.
Overseas post elapsed on December 9.
If you have missed any deadlines, you can just be like me and say “I’m sure I put it in post”. No one ever questions it, and you get a few days’ grace to actually put it in the post.
