73,000 eligible recipients in South Australia will soon be receiving another Cost of Living Concession of $255.60 – after already get a separate, once-off $243.90 cost of living payment in June for a total of $499.50 in relief.
The payment is targeted at pensioners and low-income households and is open to all holders of a Pensioner Concession Card, Veteran Gold Card, Low Income Health Care Card and the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card.
In addition, anyone receiving the JobSeeker Payment, Youth Allowance, Parenting Payment Special Benefit, Community Development Program Payment, Self-Employment Allowance, ABSTUDY/Austudy, the Farm Household Allowance or are receiving a war widow pension under legislation of the United Kingdom or New Zealand are also eligible for the payment.
If you’re eligible, you don’t need to do anything and the payment will be paid directly into your nominated bank account with myGov, so make sure you update your details if they’re not current.
