Australian Costco shoppers have been left bewildered after finding pre-peeled and pre-boiled eggs for sale at the bulk buying superstore.
Costco is selling pre-prepared eggs in 2.5kg cartons for a touch under $10 – but their expiry date is tomorrow.
Shoppers were quick to express their disgust at the offer online.
“Pretty sure I got food poisoning just looking at this,” one woman said.
“I can’t think of anything worse. I’ll stick to boiling my own,” said another.
