Doctor Who fans were left shocked as David Tennant emerged as the 14th Doctor, not previously announced successor Ncuti Gatwa… but don’t expect him to stay! The BBC confirmed that Tennant will appear for three special episodes along with Catherine Tate who played the Doctor’s companion, Donna Noble. The BBC also announced that Neil Patrick Harris will be joining the cast for Tennant’s appearance.
