Does anyone grow in their garden The Queen of the Night please?

I was given one about five months ago and it seems to love the area I put it in next to the orchids and it has taken off and it looks if it may be coming into flower, I don’t know what colour it will be I didn’t ask!   But I think at the rate it is growing I may need a larger pot.

Any one have some tips on how to car for them please?

My Dad had a plant in his garden called “Lady Of The Night”, it only bloomed in the moonlight and the perfume  was delightful.

        Hi Hola and Suze.

Yes this seems to be the same plant, the person that gave me it said it was ‘Queen of the Night’ and yes it has a wonderful scent and only flowers at night, he didn’t say if it was the moonlight though.

I will have to wait till it flowers to see what it looks like it is slow I think, but it seems to enjoy the position with the orchid plants under the pergola.

Now can you ladies please tell me where on earth this Thread is located?

Celia – My Dad’s flowers were deep purple, maybe it was a different species.

      This may be of help

Luminous flowers lure nocturnal pollinators like moths.
