Is anyone already sick of the Donald Trump legal saga?

I mean the wall-to-wall coverage in the first week is enough to have me racing for the remote and we will likely have months of this ahead.

I would probably care more if I felt he would spend one second in jail. Let’s face it, the rich and famous almost always get away with it. Think of Richard Nixon, he did tonnes of illegal stuff, all he did was lose his job.

I fear we will be subject to months of this media frenzy, providing Trump with more of a platform to spread his bile and hate.

Do you think Trump will go to jail, or even be convicted?

Undoubtedly! Enough happening with our government to headline news with, why are we showered with US rubbish?

Trump is a media circus from which only he and the media benefit. Trump gets the publicity which he craves and the media gets pulp to fill it’s pages or programs. My only concern is that he becomes president again and the world becomes even more dangerous and unpredictable and the US even more self centred.

Impossible for them to get any more self-centred than they are already. Nowhere else in the world exists for Americans. America is the world, nothing else matters.

I spent three months there back in 1981. The only thing that happened in the world according to the US media while I was there was the Solidarity uprising at the Gdansk shipyards in Poland. Nothing else in the world was reported during those three months. When I asked a friend about it, he said America has plenty of its own news. No need to report anything else as it wasn’t relevant to them.

America is now losing its relevance in the world, hence Trump and Make America Great Again. They want you to acknowledge that America is the greatest nation on earth. Always was always will be. It’s America first, second and third. The rest of the world are just also-rans to them.

The Australian media is essentially anti-Trump and have been from when he first raised his hand to stand for President of the United States. They will continue their bile against the man even if all of the charges are dismissed and he is found not guilty. Which is highly likely.
Apartment from the entertainment value as the reporters work themselves into a lather of sweat in their bid to denigrate the man, it is best to simply press the mute button on the remote and go on with your own life.
He did a lot of good for the US while President with highest rates of employment for African Americans with wage increases across the board as industries returned to the US and energy prices decreased. The apparent division of society and social unrest were 100% driven by his political opponents and much continues today.
