Cleaning guru Marie Kondo has announced she had given up on tidying. Phew. No longer do we have to feel guilt about holding on to a childhood memento that serves no purpose and is probably quite ugly.
Not surprisingly, this news coincides with Kondo having her third child. Parents will identify the problem straight away.
I never followed Kondo’s recommendations, but I certainly have been steadily paring down what’s important in my house, and judging by the amount of op shops who close their donation services, so have a lot of other people.
Did you follow the Kondo method? Do you enjoy decluttering?
