Does anyone have a foolproof method to get my German Shepherd into taking her medication? I can usually crush up tablets and mix them in with her dinner meat or hide them in some cheese but she now has to have 1.5 antibiotic tablets twice daily. They are quite large and whilst I can break them up she seems to be able to smell them and spits them out. She has her dinner in the evening and that’s easier with the meat but in the mornings she just has a bit of dry food. I’ve tried hiding them in chicken livers, chicken blood and sausage but she still won’t eat any of it with the medication in. Any suggestion will be gratefully accepted (not rude of course!!) Thank you.
