A massive rain front stretching virtually the whole way across Australia will bring large rainfalls to 80 per cent of the country over the next few days, the Bureau of Meteorology is warning.
The rain band is moving from west to east, stretching right across the continent. Rain has hit Perth and WA first, with the BOM predicting between 8 and 25mm across Wednesday and Thursday, with a high chance of thunderstorms.
The rain is then expected to move east in coming days, dumping between 8 and 25mm on Adelaide on Thursday and Friday, Melbourne between 2 and 18mm in that time and Sydney between 1 and 40mm on Friday and into the weekend.
Stay dry over the next few days everyone!
