An experiment in the UK that included 3000 people from more than 60 businesses working four days a week instead of five and retaining the same salary has been an overwhelming success.
Revenue jumped, absenteeism and resignations dropped and staff health and well-being improved.
Conducted between last June and December, it’s been described of the largest experiment of its kind and nine out of the 10 firms which were involved will continue with the shorter week or plan to do so.
