Fewer household are experiencing cold, flu or COVID symptoms, and fewer are reporting testing, according to survey results released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
David Zago, head of household surveys at the ABS, said: “Our latest Household Impacts of COVID-19 Survey, conducted between 8 and 28 August 2022, showed 36 per cent of households experienced cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms, down from 42 per cent in July 2022.”
Households that had had a COVID test in the past four weeks were also down (43 per cent) when compared to July (48 per cent).
“Of those testing for COVID-19, 22 per cent were positive, down from 27 per cent in the previous month,” Mr Zago said.
What do you think of the changed isolation and mask-wearing guidelines given that there are still so many deaths?

Surely people haven’t been reporting cold symptoms as well as flu and c0v1d symptoms!!!
I wear a mask in crowded public situations as I have a number of so-called co-morbidities and don’t want to catch anything from anyone which may make my health situation worse than it already is.
That said, I take 1000mg Vitamin C three times daily and have not had a cold or the flu for over 40 years.

Do away with mandates, isolation and masks, if YOU choose to wear a mask, fine; for the rest get over it and get on with life, cannot believe the number of people still rabbiting on about this and living under their bed.
