Regular shoppers at Aldi will know that the alternative supermarket has had some pretty strange items on sale over the years. And the flagged return of one of these oddities apparently likely to have customers brimming with excitement.
The ‘OneZ’, a ‘wearable’ sleeping bag, is making a return to Aldi shelves this month, just in time for the cooler months. On previous occasions it’s been available in the store, it’s sold out in record time and achieved a “cult-like” following.
Those missed out last time it came to town will have another chance to get their hands on a OneZ from next week. It is featured in the upcoming Aldi catalogue, retailing at $49.99.
Aldi has long been known to stock items that are not normally seen on supermarket shelves. These have included, enamel diamante dog boxes, night vision goggles, Downton Abbey figurines and even log-splitters.
Such items certainly make for an interesting weekly or fortnightly grocery shopping trip.
