Peter Brinkworth, aged 81, is the subject of a new 10-minute documentary Salt of the Earth, that will screen at the Adelaide Film Festival on October 20.
Mr Brinkworth said he made up a single mixture out of laziness instead of having to choose from several containers. The ingredients are salt, chicken stock, MSG, paprika, garlic, onion, celery, some herbs and spices. I think this is probably as close as you can get without watching the documentary.
The business was sold to food manufacturers Mitani in 1979, but if you watch the documentary you will be able to make it at home.
