American photographer Spencer Tunick, famous for his shots of large groups of naked people, is back in Australia once again. Mr Tunick has a bit of an affinity for Australia, having snapped nude Aussies at the Sydney Opera House, Melbourne’s Princes Bridge and even the roof of a Woolies.
The New York-based photographer is back again, this time looking for thousands of participants to get their gear off for a shoot at Brisbane’s Story Bridge on Sunday 27 October.
To perhaps inspire some of the more nervous nudists, Mr Spencer will also be showing an exhibition of his work at the Brisbane Powerhouse from now until the shoot.
So if you live in the area – or are willing to get there – this could be your opportunity to get your bum in famous photo. Finally, someone actually wants to see it!
There’s no doubt Mr Tunick’s images are impressive, and tastefully shot. But it definitely takes a certain level of exhibitionism to actually get on board. Would you be game?
