The Bureau of Meteorology has issued an extreme weather warning for much of southeastern Australia this weekend, as heavy rain is already lashing parts of Queensland and northern NSW.
Now, residents in Sydney, southern NSW, Victoria and South Australia are being warned to prepare for a weekend of heavy rain and to be on alert for flash flooding and strong winds.
Flooding has already impacted parts of southeast QLD after the area saw more than 40mm of rain in an hour earlier this week.
Stay safe out there.
