Include a Charity Week is a campaign to encourage Australians to pledge a gift in their will. It has a phenomenal impact on charities, non-profits, and the causes they work to support.

From 4-10 September, and in the first week of September each year, more than 100 charities nationwide unite to highlight the significance of charitable gifts in wills.

“As humans, we love the concept of leaving a legacy, says Include a Charity Campaign Director Helen Beeby. “Of making our unique, indelible mark on the world. A stamp that persists long after we’re gone and sets a positive, optimistic example for future generations. Including a gift in your will is a commitment to the longevity of causes you care about.”

This year, YourLifeChoices is working with Cancer Council NSW to encourage you to leave a legacy that could positively affect the lives of those living with cancer.

Cancer Council NSW is one of Australia’s only cancer charities working across every area of every cancer – helping the community when it is needed most.

Cancer Council NSW is one of Australia’s largest non-government funded supporters of cancer research, funding world-class research aiming to reduce the impact of cancer.

There are many ways a gift in your will can help change the future of myriad Australians.

Your gift may help Cancer Council NSW create a cancer-free future. Imagine that!

Will your legacy include leaving a gift to charity? Which charity would you support? What’s your favourite charity?
