No Diwali does not need to become a public holiday.
Orthodox religions currently celebrate Easter on different moon cycles to other religions. They have never asked for any additional public holidays. Also if you want to visit any temple you do not need a public holiday, you may visit on any regular day.

I also read that towel rails and all handles were the least cleaned in a bathroom.

A while ago a young new mother named her baby after a luxury Australian car. When I was helping her register the name with correct spelling, twice. The mother stubbornly refused to spell the (car) name correctly and informed me that Centrelink was happy with the spelling. So sad as the mother was proudly insisting the child was named after the beautiful luxury car. Thank goodness we can change our own names once we are older and wiser than our parents. But sad to have endured bullying in our younger years.

In South Australia, I recently paid my car registration. I was required to circle which CTP insurer I preferred. I was happy to do this as I have done over many previous renewals.
But, my question is, why oh why, have I now, for the first time, received an SMS text message to my mobile phone from this CTP insurer. Also for the first time, I received an email from this CTP insurance company to an old outdated email address. Why is the registration department allowing all this information on me, to be collated and used by the Compulsory Third Party Insurance company. This is a first. Too much information is being shared out from government departments to private insurance companies. This is unnecessary profiling and collating of personal details.

re: William Shu, very wealthy owner of Deliveroo. Did he make a huge profit in Australia and then skip the country without paying taxes? Was his intention to increase his personal wealth and then dump his underpaid staff in one swift move?

I think this is a nice courtesy situation. The driver is nervous and we can kindly support their return to driving again. But, if their previous accident was due to old age or a health diagnosis, or inability to safely have full control of their car .. then please suspend their drivers licence permanently. Better to be safe than sorry.

Is this survey a National survey or mainly in NSW and Victoria?

Here in South Australia we have some wonderful independent supermarket chains.

One, has on a few occasions won International Awards for their produce and service.
