Yes, this price increase is a step too far! The impact on disabled people and pensioners will be devastating to many of them. These people are among the most vulnerable in our society already and to make a greedy move like this against those most unable to fight back is evil. The strikes come from so many directions and lead me to believe that there is a vendetta against this section of society. It will most probably not really impact those who have good physical and financial capacity. Again, it is the weakest in our world who are made to carry unsupportable burdens to ensure profit margins and higher earnings for shareholders in the companies involved. When are we going to truly see any improvement in our society’s regard for those for whom they should have at least a little compassion?

My dog sleeps wherever he wants. He spends a bit of time cuddling up to us in bed then moves to the end of the bed and snoozes for a while. After this he usually relocates to his own bed under the window. I think he rotates between all spots at various times during the night, because he is never in the same spot if I wake up at any time. He’s very quiet though and doesn’t disturb us. Like 52-KID, I find it comforting to have him close by.

I haven’t ironed anything for years. I don’t buy any clothes that will need ironing. Everything goes into the drier then straight onto coat hangers or gets folded neatly and put away as soon as it comes out of the drier. I am too disabled to hang anything on a clothes line so the drier is essential and it sure as heck makes life a lot easier. Years ago I used to spend at least 1 – 1.5 hours a day ironing everything but no more! Disability has taken away a lot but has also brought a few unexpected benefits lol.

The reasons stated above, plus the exorbitant rip off prices of i-Phones, was why I stopped using them. I kept going with  my ancient one until the day the hot spot function stopped working, then ditched it and swapped to a low cost more basic phone. I do  miss some of the features of the i-Phone, but I won’t be made a victim of over priced technology. The one I have does everything I really need so I’ll stick with it for now. It still updates without fuss although the battery leaves a bit to be desired.

I don’t  use cling wrap at all. Hate the stuff! Like Incognito, I use glass bowls with glass lids. Cheaper and no likelihood of any unwanted chemicals leaching from the clingwrap into the food.

I’ve never heard of most of those on the list. But then, I seldom watch any TV lol.
