This is almost the NBN we were originally promised BUT the catch is, if you are not already Fibre to the Home the only way you get the “free upgrade” is to sign up to a more expensive higher speed and data plan. Then you will be assessed for free connection. You may still be up for additional infrastructure costs, plus a more expensive plan, in order to get this “free” upgrade.
