I agree Tony, while I know in theory how to change a tyre due to my car-mad father, I don’t know if I could pit my strength against mechanically tightened wheel nuts.

I think this is a great suggestion Chris. She was an inspiring woman.

That sounds okay Allen, but this woman was just loading up the dishwasher with potatoes with no covering.

Thanks Couldabeen, that’s reassuring. But just to clarify, I wouln’t have bought the product in the first place if I knew it was damaging to the people manufacturing it.
I hope the people affected by the dust get the help they need.

Mum: “Dogs sleep outside”. Mum a year or two later. “Dogs can occasionally sleep inside if the weather is bad.” A few years later. “Dogs sleep inside all the time but never on the bed”. Now the dogs spend as much time inside as they like and the heater or air-conditioner is left on depending on the weather. Who exactly in charge here mum?

Thanks Sue, I was so surprised when it turned up on Tuesday after dropping the paperwork off on the previous Monday. I’m a great believer in praising good service.

You’re so lucky to have such a lovely neighbour Diana. I must admit one of my favourite parts of Christmas is all the Christmas lights.

Boiling water gets rids of most of the weeds in my paving except for onion weed which merely looks at me and says ‘tah mate for the lush shower’ and goes on its merry way.

The ones that irritate me are charity campaigns for farmers. If supermarkets paid their suppliers better they wouldn’t need charity.
And don’t forget these big companies any money you donate for tax deductions. You are better off donating the money yourself and keeping the tax deduction yourself.
