I see no reason to take an animal to Bunnings. If it is a service animal with appropriate vest on to show it’s credentials, than yes. Other pets can be left at home while you shop. The workers at Bunnings should not have to clean up messes from animals or children. People expect workers in any retail environment will clean up after them when in reality that is not what they are paid to do or in their job description. This WOKE society want all the rights but not responsibilities that come with being part of a society – if they’re going to get their hands dirty. I just get so frustrated when I read these articles.
MochaParticipantI agree that this new format for the forum is off putting. I did enjoy reading all of the threads on the old forum. But I was put off by a few regular people who would continually bicker and be rude to one another – that’s not needed in any discussion.
MochaParticipantOh, it doesn’t worry us about referrals, as our GP is extremely good and all we have to do is text him if it’s for a specialist that we already go to.

MochaParticipantUnfortunately not all specialist rooms accept indefinite referrals. My partner has asked at multiple rooms and the answer is no, you must get a yearly one. He only had one specialist who would accept an indefinite referral.

Always go through the company’s official website and login to your account. Any information will be there if legit. It might take more time, but we have to accept responsibility for the protection of our personal information.
MochaParticipantI don’t think mobile phones should be banned in schools, but I do agree they should be handed in and returned before they leave at the end of their school day. I’ve been out of the school system for a few years now, but phones do come in handy when public transport has been cancelled or running late. There really isn’t alot of public phone boxes around anymore so really they are a necessary evil. Schools can also block websites within the school grounds – this was happening at my children’s school when they were attending, so I’m sure things have advanced more since 5 years ago.
