This realy annoys me.
It boils my blood.
We went through the Margaret Thatcher years when interest rates went from 7%, which we thought was cheap to 15% overnight.
My husband was then a coal Miner and they went on strike and we could get no help of any social services we went through hell it lasted 6 months we had to que for food from a charity it was 1982
I had a newborn baby and I just bought my first home we had more struggles then than this generation can imagine
we’ve been through the 2008 GFC where we lost our home in England
what’s happening now and then ,in 2008 is an eternal cycle brought on by greed
these kids today don’t know they’re born they’ve been used to free money most of there adult life
we’ve had to work Bloody hard to get where we are now
And god forbid we’re getting a bit of return on our money in the bank.
By the way nobody gave it to us We saved it from both working hard and now we are castigated for having paid off our mortgage and a bit of money in the bank
they want to do the history and have a look what we went through our
,grandparents went through in the war
you would think they’re the only people in the world to ever have to suffer
and in a society where everybody wants something better every day every week they have to have the latest phone best car best house now they have to pay for it tough !
