The Black Friday sales have long been a huge event in the US lead up to Christmas and even in Australia we have seen an increase in sales labelled as such. But it’s not all about consumerism, with environmental and socially responsible company Patagonia donating all the profits from its Black Friday sales – all $10 million – to saving the environment.
The company had originally projects a $2 million profit but has promised to keep its word, even though the total is five times that amount.
