Air New Zealand has done it again. Famous for its entertaining safety videos that passengers actually want to pay attention too, the latest one does not disappoint.
Following on from last year’s Hobbit themed video, this year’s demonstration is based on the Men in Black movies. Featuring a number of the All Black players, captain Richie McCaw plays one of the two main agents, whose mission is to help keep passengers safe.
Keeping true to the movie, even Agent Zed and Frank the Pug make cameo appearances. And, if you look carefully, you’ll spot David Campese from the Wallabies.
The video has reached viral status, after being featured by major media outlets all around the world. With around 3.2 million people watching it online every day, Men in Black Safety Defenders is well on it’s way to becoming the airline’s most popular in-flight safety video to date.
Take a look at what all the fuss is about and tell us what you think? Do you like this latest video? Should more airlines follow Air New Zealand’s lead to make safety messages engaging?
