If you find yourself on set with Dennis Quaid, run. The 61-year-old actor has been filmed having a ‘supposed’ meltdown of the set on his new movie. The clip reveals a furious Quaid unleashing a tirade of abuse on a crew member who stepped on set during filming.
He can be heard yelling: “What the f**k, keep going! I am acting here, and this d**khead wanders on to my set”, and “I can’t even get a line out until dopey the d**k starts whispering in your ear, and you’re not even watching anymore!”
The footage is reminiscent of Christian Bale’s volatile rant on the set of Terminator Salvation in 2009. Bale later apologised for the outburst, calling it “inexcusable” and admitting “I acted like a punk.”
Speculation is rife that both meltdowns were made up, constructed to bring publicity to their films. Turns out, that Quaid’s tirade was indeed a hoax, whilst the jury remains out on Bale’s blow up.
Why not play the clips and decide for yourself?
