The clip has been warmly received and heralded as an alternative Australian anthem by online fans. The clip, set to the tune of Outkast’s Hey Ya!, has more than 1.3 million views on YouTube.
Creator Terry Mann, also known as Coach Bombay, says the video project was the result of an internet challenge to create an alternative Australia Day anthem. He has definitely succeeded with this awesome advertisement for all that is ‘Australian’.
