Do you need a chiro, physio or osteo?

Osteopathy Australia president Dr Michelle Funder joins host John Deeks to discuss who to see and when. Sometimes it’s difficult to know where to turn, so Dr Funder explains the differences and similarities between osteopathy, physiotherapy and chiropractic assistance.

Osteopathy is the fastest growing health profession in Australia, she says, popular because it centres on the whole body, treating not only the pain but working out why the pain exists. Services cover lower back pain, postural issues, knee and joint pain, headaches and jaw therapy.

Dr Funder explains how osteopathy can be accessed via private health fund extras cover and how Medicare treats osteopathy services. Listen in to find out more and visit osteopathy.org.au/
