Dr Toni Lindsay is a clinical and health psychologist who has worked in the fields of oncology and haematology for more than 10 years and has written The Cancer Companion.

She explains that uncertainty and cancer usually go hand in hand and how, for many, it can be the most difficult emotion to manage.
