Research from Booking.com reveals that a quarter (25 per cent) of Australian travellers plan to choose their next stay based on how pet-friendly it is. And almost a quarter (24 per cent) admit that if they can’t bring their pet on their trip it will affect the accommodation they choose.
Dog ownership increased by about 45 per cent during the pandemic, so it’s clear that pet-friendly stays are on the minds of many Australians.
