This tour takes you on a journey through Queensland and New South Wales country destinations, delivering you to Canberra for Australia’s largest flower festival, Floriade.
Spring is a beautiful time of the year in the cooler climates, and the gardens of the regions the tour visits are bursting with colour and fragrance, making this tour a popular package for all keen green thumbs. In fact, the Seniors Holiday Travel Team organises two tours each year, both of which sell out fast.
So, don’t miss your chance to book your spot on the second tour for 2017 – there are only a few places left, so please be quick if you are interested in joining the group this year.
This package begins with a short flight to Sydney, then by coach to our nation’s capital, Canberra. Here you’ll have plenty of time to visit the national monuments and take in the colour and perfume of the millions of flowers at the magnificent Floriade flower festival.
The tour then makes its way back up to Brisbane, visiting the tulip garden of Corbett Park in Bowral, and spending two nights in the picturesque Blue Mountains, which is truly beautiful at this time of the year.
You’ll then travel to the beautiful Hunter Valley region and spend two nights, taking in more gardens, sightseeing, specialty shops and a winery before heading off to visit the Golden Guitar and Waxworks at Tamworth.
And just when you thought the tour was over, you’ll visit Armidale and then Warwick, where you’ll mosey on to the Abbey of the Roses for a delightful afternoon tea.
This tour will leave you wanting to explore more of the beauty that the east coast of Australia has to offer.
