Sometimes choosing a destination can be a challenge. Where to go, what to see and with whom you’re travelling all play a part. If you’re lucky, you’ll figure it out by yourself.
Or, you could be a little bit different and follow the stars.
Yes, you can choose your ideal travel destination according to your zodiac sign.
As you probably know, astrological signs usually focus on personality traits. So using them to choose an ideal destination is not such a silly idea. Anyway, do with it what you will, but here are the best destinations according to your zodiac sign.
Capricorn (Dec 22–Jan 19)
Capricorns are ambitious and are typically reserved but love being sociable. I reckon the Caribbean is perfect for a Capricorn, particularly Barbados. The locals are friendly, and it is a little bit more ambitious than a regular island holiday.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 18)
Known for independence and single-mindedness, Aquarians are more likely to visit a place they’ve been to before. But if you’re an Aquarius looking for a new destination, then try an Antarctic cruise.
Pisces (February 19–March 20)
Pisces are escapists who enjoy being far away from everything but get bored quite easily. So, choose a destination with natural wonders and cultural offerings. Try a cruise around French Polynesia so that you are constantly on the move between islands.
Aries (March 21–April 19)
Independent, energetic and unable to sit for long periods, Aries also need to be on the move. So, places with wide open spaces and lots of hiking opportunities are probably best. The United States has some amazing natural parks. Kansas is all about outdoor opportunities, with more than 32,000 acres of land devoted to state parks. Kansas’ lakes, reservoirs and rivers can provide hours of fun, while you can explore the diverse beauty of the state on the many hiking trails.
Taurus (April 20–May 20)
Taureans are loving, warm-hearted and enjoy being self-indulgent. So, a nice hotel in a busy city is ideal. As is a luxury B&B in a wine region. You can probably tick off both items with a trip to France.
Gemini (May 21–June 20)
Geminis are adaptable, curious and can fit into any scenario in which they find themselves. On the flipside (as the Gemini sign suggests) they can become bored quite easily. While I have already mentioned Antarctic cruising for Aquarians, this option will also suit Geminis in 2019.
Cancer (June 21–July 22)
Holidays with family or a group of close friends are supposedly best for Cancerians because it gives them a chance to display their nurturing side. But if that’s not appealing, a cosy B&B in the countryside is the next best thing. Perhaps a spot in the English midlands might fit the bill.
Leo (July 23–August 22)
Leos are fiery and love to be where the action is. We are going back to the Caribbean for the Leos, but this time Antigua and Barbuda will provide a little more spice than the more relaxed feel of Barbados.
Virgo (August 23–September 22)
Virgos are suckers for detail, so a well-planned itinerary is a must for any Virgo vacation. Virgos research all the best spots, so reading this may be moot. Still, if you’re looking for suggestions, try a trip to London this year.
Libra (September 23– October 22)
Librans love peace, tranquillity and especially romance, but also need some variety. So, look for destinations with a balance of busy and quiet, art and culture offset by food and shopping. Norway might strike a chord.
Scorpio (Oct 23–Nov 21)
Intense in nature, Scorpios need a mix of nature and convenience to truly unwind. Albania may strike that balance beautifully, it features unspoiled beaches, mountainous landscapes, traditional cuisine, archaeological artefacts, unique traditions, low prices and the wild atmosphere of the countryside.
Sagittarius (Nov 22–Dec 21)
Sagittarians are always hunting for a new adventure, so disappearing for a few weeks to some far-flung outpost in a distant land is most ideal for the centaur of the zodiac. Think somewhere like Turkey.
What do you think of our selections for your star sign? Would these destinations be high on your list?
