Celebrity chef Luke Mangan’s new pop-up diner will not offer the typical restaurant experience. It will serve a three-course meal to 20 guests a night, 87 metres above Sydney Harbour.
Scheduled to make its debut next month, Luke’s Table, coming to the South-East Pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, is set to become the country’s most unique restaurant.
Mr Mangan is collaborating with BridgeClimb to host this five-week pop-up restaurant, setting up shop on the pylon’s Lookout Level between Thursday 17 November and Thursday 22 December.

In sharing the details, Deb Zimmer, CEO of BridgeClimb, said: “Luke’s Table at the Pylon Lookout is a fantastic example of two industries, tourism, and hospitality, innovating to offer people a world-first dining experience. The restaurant will be open for business on Thursdays and Fridays for its initial run, giving diners the opportunity to enjoy unparalleled views with their dinner.

Each guest will climb the 200 stairs that lead up the pylon, guided by a BridgeClimb leader taking them on a journey through the history of Sydney’s iconic bridge — all the while admiring the panoramic vistas of Sydney’s landmarks.
Once seated, diners will be treated to a three-course meal prepared by Mr Mangan and his talented team, paired with Penfold wines. The experience will set you back $295 plus a $10 booking fee and, due to the height of the dining room, the wine will be limited to one glass per course.
Luke’s Table at the Pylon will initially run at the South-East Pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Thursdays and Fridays (6–9pm), from 17 November to 22 December. The initial run of dates is already booked out, but you can join the waitlist at the BridgeClimb website.
