Move over Dollywood – there’s a new Parton-pegged attraction on the block in Tennessee, and it’s just as lavish and loud as you’d expect.
Named after Dolly Parton’s 1989 song and album, White Limozeen is a new rooftop bar overlooking midtown Nashville, which channels the local legend in its over-the-top decor, colour scheme, and tone.
Built atop the recently reopened Graduate Nashville hotel, the vintage-glam aesthetic is pinker than Elle Woods’ wardrobe in Legally Blonde, with soft furnishings, parasols and paintwork all turned out in Ms Parton’s trademark colour.

Inside, a circular onyx bar with gold lining serves up cocktails with names like ‘Queen of the Rodeo’ beneath dazzlingly sparkly chandeliers, while the lower floors host a designated ‘9 to 5 suite’.
A proud Tennessee native, Dolly Parton moved to Nashville after graduating from high school, and still lives on its outskirts today. She was a spearhead for the city’s country and western scene, and Nashville already houses a host of Dolly-themed homages, including enough tribute bands to stage a small festival and a star on the Music City Walk of Fame.
Originally slated to debut in March, the bar’s opening was delayed by coronavirus, and at present all customers require a reservation. Ms Parton herself has an open invitation from the management but is not yet thought to have stopped by.
Would you go? What themed bars could we open in Australia?
