A 38-year-old man recently stripped naked and boarded a Ural Airlines flight at Russia’s Domodedovo Airport in Moscow.
Why?
He said clothes made him less aerodynamic.
The naked flyer stripped in the gate lounge as the boarding announcement was made, then sped across the boarding bridge and was immediately nabbed by staff as he was about to board.
One passenger on the plane told REN TV: “He shouted that he was naked because clothing impairs the aerodynamics of the body. He flies with more agility when undressed.”
The man was handcuffed by police while they tried to figure out what to do with him. Passengers said the man did not appear drunk and seemed relatively calm and relaxed.
“After the police had detained the offender, he was taken to the airport’s medical room and then was hospitalised in a medical facility,” said the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs press service.
