Aussie comedian and television presenter Tom Gleeson, in a move he says may have just lost him 4.8 million Logie votes, absolutely slays Sydney in a segment he created for The Weekly’s ‘Go Away’ segment.
Gleeson, known for his acerbic wit and hilarious humour, gives Sydney no quarter, with thigh-slapping one-liners such as saying Sydney is “the city that built a bridge but can’t get over it” and “Bondi is the Fosters of beaches: tourists love it but the locals know it’s a bit shit”.
Even if you’re a Sydneysider it’d be difficult not to laugh at Gleeson’s scathing yet hysterical best. Spare a few minutes and give yourself a chuckle.

Do you agree with any of Tom’s ‘digs’? Or does he go too far? If you could respond to his aspersions, what would you say?
