The ‘nicest’ Christmas video ever

Air New Zealand has kicked off the festive season with its latest Christmas video, featuring the naughtiest kids on the planet attempting to get back into Santa’s good books.

Starring 17 children of Air New Zealand employees, the video shows kids on the naughty list banding together to assemble an International Naughty Kids Summit, which aims to get them back on Santa’s nice list.

Air New Zealand’s general manager of global brand and content Jodi Williams said the airline had once again nailed the comedy content of its Christmas advertisements – as well as the ‘sketchy’ relationship between the sunburnt country and the land of the long white cloud.

“From childhood memories of writing to Santa, through to the drama of a festive tech fail, the heart-warming video plays on silly season moments in a very Kiwi way,” said Ms Williams.

“Showcasing our people is a hallmark of Air New Zealand’s brand campaigns and it was fantastic to be able to share the limelight with more of the Air New Zealand family this time.”

The campaign has already had 13 million views and has also won a Global Content award at the PRWeek Global Awards in London.
