With the humble guidebook replaced by travel websites and apps, most travellers have embraced the convenience and personalisation of smart technology to enhance their holiday experiences.
Available for hire for less than the cost of many hotel internet packages, Apollo wifi routers use Australia’s largest carrier, Telstra, so customers can use their smart devices on the road where their own mobile phone data coverage may not extend.
The usage plans ranging from 60MB to 3GB, and the units are removable as well as re-chargeable, so they can be taken out of the rental vehicle and used at the beach, or around the campfire.
RRP: $10 per day with a maximum charge of $50, plus data usage from Apollo.
