Spring specials have sprung!

Spring has sprung! Depending on where you are in Australia, the weather may or may not reflect that fact. If it hasn’t, it almost certainly will soon. And if you’re a pet owner, your puppy or curious kitten might be showing signs of wanting to enjoy some spring action.

With that in mind, we’ve found some great specials for you at Petbarn. We’ve also spotted some great TV deals at JB Hi-Fi and half-price snacks at Coles so you’ll be all set to enjoy the footy finals.

Petbarn

Petbarn has just about everything you could possibly want for your cat or dog. From food to bedding to toys, it’s all there for you at the click of a button. And if you spend over $149, it’ll be delivered to your door within two hours for free!

Right now Petbarn has some great specials as part of their ‘Pet Spectacular’. These allow you to save up to 40 per cent if you book repeat deliveries or become a member.

For instance, a 12kg bag of Hill’s Science Diet Adult Dog Food Chicken has a retail price of $168.99. The member price though is just $118.79, a saving of more than $50! Or if you choose to repeat the delivery, you’ll get the same 12kg back for just $112.85, a saving of over $56.

But it’s not just food on which you can save at Petbarn. You can protect your cats and dogs from fleas, ticks and worms for a great price, too. NexGard Spectra Spot-On for Cats is a good example. For cats under 7.5kg, a six pack of doses will cost members just $85.99, well below the regular non-member price of $129.99.

And we’re only scratching the surface (not flea bites!) here. There are collars, beds, toys and so much more available at great prices. Check out the full range of Petbarn specials here.

TV deals at JB Hi-Fi

There’s another thing about spring that gets a lot of Aussies excited – footy finals. Whether you’re a fan of the indigenous game of Australian football or Rugby League, September is a chance to see the best of the best.

If you can’t get to a game in person, the next best thing is to take in the action from your couch. And thanks to JB Hi-Fi, you can do so with some of the cleanest, crispest colour images available at a great price.

At the top end of the range, there’s the LG 65″ OLED EVO C4 4K UHD Smart TV. This beauty has a retail ticket price of $4295. Right now at JB Hi-Fi, it’s yours for $3495, a whopping $800 price cut.

If 65 inches is a little bit too big for your lounge room, the Hisense 50″ Q6NAU 4K QLED Smart TV could be the right option for you. You can order this one at JB for just $695, a saving of $100 off the ticket price.

On the other hand, you might be an AFL in an NRL household – or vice versa. A second TV in the den could be the solution here, and JB has that scenario covered, too. The FFalcon 50″ U64 4K UHD Google TV retails at $445, but JB Hi-Fi can give it to you for just $395.

Check out these three viewing options and many others at JB’s TV deals page here.

Hot Coles prices

As the weather warms, there’ll be less of a need to head to your fireplace and stoke the hot coals. But there’s plenty of hot Coles (see what I did there?) specials you should check out this week.

Among the many great deals highlighted in this week’s Coles catalogue are some snacks that would be perfect for you as you watch the footy on your new TV from JB Hi-Fi sitting next to your dog and/or cat, content after they’ve enjoyed a lovely meal courtesy of Petbarn.

Coles has snacks such as Maltesers, Smiths chips, Sakata crackers and a range of tasty gyoza (dumplings), all at half price. Even if your footy team’s performance isn’t satisfactory, these half-price goodies will make sure your appetite is satisfied.

And if you do have a dog sitting with you as you watch the game, they too can enjoy some snacks at half price. Schmackos 500g dog treat packs are just $8.50 each this week, down from $17.
